History of SEO in my Life

Posted by Jeff Clark Saturday, November 27, 2010

At the very beginning, I don't know what is SEO means and how to do this although I know that this is Search Engine Optimization. I met this word, I mean, this SEO thing way back fourth year in college during my On-The-Job Training. I had my OJT in iChat Media Solutions Inc, we post articles in a certain site and submit these articles to social bookmarking sites. My learning there was very limited since my OJT lasted only for 3 months.

I continue my study and got interested with the software programming than web programming until I graduated last March 2010. I didn't know that there are lots of job opportunities in web programming as well. But what is good about web programming is that you can do your job at your home as your part time job.

Few months after my graduation, my brother taught me how this SEO works and see the outcome. At first, I did some social bookmarking submission, profile creation until I did some blog comments. Well, at a very few times working in a certain keyword, I noticed that it has a good result because the website crawls now in Google Organic Search at the first page. I said to myself that there is nothing impossible if hardwork is needed. My learning about this SEO did not stop. My brother taught me on how to do On-page optimization, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Video Submission, Article Submission and some other things that are related to SEO.

When I had a good result from the project that my brother gave me, I used this as my portfolio to search for my own part time job. Now, I am working with my own client as my part time job. I rendered 4 to 6 hours everyday to work on this site and my learning doesn't stop. It continues while I am working.

I think being a SEO Specialist, there is always space and time of learning. If there are more opportunities, then why should I not grabbed it?

If you want me to work on my site just leave a comment here or just go to 'Contact Me' tab and enter your details there and I will email you with some of my Portfolios.

Thank you for reading this and you can bookmark this site to get updated of my posts.
